Neighborhood deep dive
Why Broken Arrow is one of Tulsa's most in-demand suburbs
Broken Arrow sits roughly 15 miles east of Tulsa and is one of Oklahoma's largest suburbs, home to about 116,000 residents. For buyers who want a real yard, an established neighborhood, and strong schools without sacrificing access to Tulsa, it has become one of the metro's most popular destinations, especially for families and relocating professionals.
Schools that keep families put
The 2400 S Willow Ave address is served by Union Public Schools, one of the region's most respected districts, with an assigned path from Andersen Elementary, about a mile north on Willow Avenue, through Union's 6th-7th and 8th grade centers and on to Union High School. Note that school boundaries can change, so it always pays to confirm the current feeder pattern with the district before you commit.
Parks and weekends
Broken Arrow operates more than 40 parks totaling over 1,000 acres. The flagship is Ray Harral Nature Center and Park, a 40-acre preserve with about three miles of trails, a natural spring system, pollinator gardens, and a suspension bridge over the creek. Battle Creek Golf Club, Indian Springs Sports Complex, and Nienhuis Skate Park add golf, sports fields, and skating close to home.
A commute that works
The Broken Arrow Expressway (OK-51) runs west straight into Tulsa, where it connects to Highway 169 and I-244. A typical drive to downtown Tulsa runs 20 to 30 minutes, and Tulsa International Airport is about 25 minutes by car. The city is also widening East Albany Street to five lanes between Lynn Lane and County Line Road, part of a broader effort to keep pace with growth.
A lively local scene
Historic downtown Broken Arrow is about 10 minutes from the 2400 S Willow Ave area, with shops, restaurants, and seasonal events. Closer still, you will find breakfast at Bramble, tavern fare on Main Street, pizza from Uncle Vinny's, and coffee at Rise Grind & Ride, Dutch Bros, or 7 Brew. It is that mix of calm streets and easy amenities that keeps buyers coming back.
